How to get HURIDOCS training

last modified 2007-10-19 14:45

HURIDOCS training and advisory services can be accessed by contacting Daniel D’Esposito (training officer) at the HURIDOCS secretariat in Versoix, Geneva. He can be reached as follows:

  • Email: info@huridocs.org (mention “training request” in subject)
  • Phone: ++41 22 755 52 52

Its important to start with an assessment of your needs. Please let us know the following in your first email:

  • Which organisations are involved? You organisation, or others as well?
  • In which area is training and advisory services needed? See overview and list of modules.
  • What challenges are you facing in this area, and what would you like to improve?
  • What type of intervention would suit your needs: training, consulting, or a professional internship?
  • What is your working language?
  • Do you already have funding for this project, or will it have to be resourced through specific fundraising?

Once you have written to us, we can set up a project together, combining training with advisory services as useful. This will involve:

  • Working together on a more detailed analysis of needs
  • Developing a project proposal which defines objectives, organisation of work, activities and outputs.
  • Obtaining funding then agreeing on timing
  • Identify the more appropriate trainers or consultants for the assignment.

We look forward to hearing from you!
