LOCAL LANGUAGES

The purpose of this list is to record which local languages are spoken by a person.

Organisations will need to establish a list of local languages in order to complete this field consistently.

This Micro-thesaurus is used for field 946 Local Language in the Person format and for field 2513 Local Language of Source Material in the Information format.
