INTENT

The purpose of this list is to select the intentions that the alleged perpetrator(s) had in torturing the victim(s).

This list has been developed by HURIDOCS. It is based on a list included in the HURIDOCS Standard Formats: A Tool for Documenting Human Rights Violations (1). The original codes from this list are included in the column 1st ed. Code.

This is a hierarchical list with two levels, as described in Rule No. 3 in the Introduction.

This Micro-thesaurus is used for field 3351 Intent in the Additional Details: Torture format.
