The purpose of this list is to select the religion adhered to by a person.
This list is based on "Supporting Document L: List of Instruments" (1) and has been extracted from the International Thesaurus of Refugee Terminology (2).
The original codes from the Supporting Document are included in the column 1st ed. Code. The Source Code in the fourth column is the code used in the International Thesaurus of Refugee Terminology.
This is a hierarchical list with three levels, as described in Rule No. 3 in the Introduction.
This Micro-thesaurus is used for field 940 Religion in the Person format.
