Collection of resources for documenting human rights violations in Burma. Each resource contains three sections: Documentation – establishing the violation; Analysis – evaluating the evidence; and Advocacy – using the evidence. Emphasis is on using UN mechanisms.
Resources are available on the following topics: the recruitment and use of child soldiers; forced labour; arbitrary arrest and detention; rape and other forms of sexual violence; human trafficking; forced marriage; forced prostitution; obstruction of freedom of movement; forced relocation; obstruction of freedom of expression and assembly; killings and disappearances; violations of property rights; torture and other forms of ill-treatment; documenting truth, as well as Martus in Burmese.
