*Human Rights Council: A child rights UPR toolkit for NGOs*
As the 8th session of the Human Rights Council gets underway, a toolkit has
been published to help child rights NGOs participate in the new Universal
Periodic Review mechanism. It is hoped the Review will become the
cornerstone of the Council's work. As such, it is an opportunity to push
child rights to the top of the agenda.

Group on the Human Rights Council, part of the NGO Group for the Convention

*Conseil de Droits de l'Homme: Un trousse à outils sur les droits de
l'enfant au EPU pour des O.N.G.s*
Tandis que la 8ème session du Conseil de droits de l'homme est en cours, une
trousse à outils a été éditée pour aider des O.N.G.s de droits d'enfant à
participer au nouvel Examen périodique universel. Nous espérons que l'examen
deviendra la pierre angulaire du travail du Conseil. Ainsi, c'est une
occasion de pousser les droits de l'enfant au dessus de l'ordre du jour.

*Consejo de Derechos Humanos: herramientas para los derechos del niño en
el EPU por parte de las ONG*
Con motivo de la celebración del 8° período de sesiones del Consejo de
Derechos Humanos, se ha publicado un conjunto de herramientas con el fin de
ayudar a las ONG consagradas a los derechos del niño a participar en el
nuevo mecanismo del Examen Períodico Universal.
Así pues, esperamos que el Examen constituya la piedra angular del trabajo
del Consejo. Como tal, representa una gran oportunidad para ubicar la
cuestión de los derechos del niño entre los asuntos de mayor prioridad.
