    The International Human Rights Academy is a Human Rights course of two
    weeks, organised every year in South Africa or in Europe under the auspices
    of seven reputable universities from The Netherlands, Belgium, Republic of
    South Africa and the United States of America. 
    
     
    
    The 6th International Human Rights Academy will be held in Middelburg, The
    Netherlands from 9 to 23 August 2008. The various intensive courses that
    make up the Academy are designed to provide high quality legal education in
    comparative international human rights and in humanitarian law, with an
    emphasis on the practical aspects in various fields.
    
     
    
    Only a limited number of applicants will be selected to participate in the
    2008 Academy. The content of the course presupposes a fair existing
    knowledge of human rights, and participants must be at a graduate or
    professional level. The working language of the course is English, and
    candidates applying for the course are expected to be able to converse fully
    in the English language.
    
    Participants of the course usually include:
    • academics 
    • staff of international, regional and national 
    
       non-  governmental organisations 
    • judges, lawyers and other legal practitioners 
    • postgraduate students

    L'Académie Internationale de Droits Humains, organisée en collaboration avec
    l'Université de Utrecht, est un cours de deux semaines conçu afin de fournir
    une formation juridique de haute qualité sur les droits de l’homme
    international et le droit humanitaire. 
    
     
    
    La sixième Académie Internationale de Droits Humains aura lieu en
    Middelburg, aux Pays-Bas, de des 9 à au 23 août 2008. Ce cours est destiné
    aux gradués et aux professionnels, et présuppose que les participants ont
    des vastes connaissances en matière de droits de l’homme. Le cours sera
    donné en anglais, et les candidats doivent avoir une grande fluidité dans le
    maniement de cette langue. La date limite pour le dépôt de demandes sera le

    La Academia Internacional de Derechos Humanos, organizada en colaboración
    con la Universidad de Utrecht, es un curso de 2 semanas diseñado con el fin
    de proporcionar formación jurídica de alta calidad en el ámbito de los
    derechos humanos internacionales comparados y del Derecho humanitario. 
    
     
    
    La sexta Academia Internacional de Derechos Humanos se celebrará en
    Middelburg, en los Países Bajos, del 9 al 23 de agosto de 2008. Este curso
    esta destinado a graduados o profesionales, por lo que se presupone que los
    participantes deberán tener conocimientos amplios en materia de derechos
    humanos. El curso se impartirá en inglés, de modo que los candidatos deberán
    tener gran fluidez en el manejo de esta lengua. La fecha límite para la
