I hereby foreword an offer from one of our projects. They have a number
of copies of an edited volume of articles concerning the freedom of
religion or belief that they are prepared to distribute world-wide, free
of charge, with postage prepaid.

They are particularly interested in reaching out to human rights and
university libraries, and have requested that I assist them in spreading
this information.

If you are interested in this offer, please contact Regina Pascual. The
books will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

If you are aware of other libraries that may be interested in this
offer, we would be grateful if you could forward this e-mail to them, or
inform us of how we could come in contact with them.

The Oslo Coalition on Freedom of Religion or Belief, in an effort to
disseminate the knowledge we have gathered, would like to offer the book
“Facilitating Freedom of Religion or Belief” cost free (including
postage) to interested Universities and libraries around the world. We
have asked our colleague, Betty Jean Haugen, to assist us in sending
this information out to potential international libraries.

“Facilitating Freedom of Religion or Belief: a Deskbook” is a
comprehensive anthology of writings of international experts in freedom
of religion or belief (FORB) seen from many different perspectives and
life-stances. Chapter by chapter the book covers the following topics:
Origins and Grounds of FORB; International Norms and Institutions on
FORB; FORB and the State; Women, Parents and Children; FORB, Tensions,
Conflicts and Transitions and finally, Contexts for facilitating FORB.
