Subject: NEW : WinEvsys demonstration videos

Date: 2007-07-13 09:50

Dear friends and colleagues,

We have produced a complete series of demonstration videos for the
WinEvsys system for documenting violations, which are now available both
online and on CDROM.

As you know, WinEvsys is an Access-based database system that makes it
possible to record information on human rights violations, so it can be
easily retrieved and analyzed. It is very easy to install and customize to
the exact needs of your organization or network. More information here:
http://www.huridocs.org/tools/winevsys

There are five demonstration videos in total, covering all aspects of the
WinEvsys software: installation, data recording, search and statistics,
and customization. You can watch them online here (be sure to view the
full-screen version):

You may find the online videos a bit unclear to watch. Don’t worry, you
can also order our HURITOOLS CDROM, which contains all the HURIDOCS tools
and manuals. On HURITOOLS you will find high resolution versions of all
these videos. This will be very useful if you have a slow or expensive
internet connection, or need to play the videos offline.

We will be happy to send a HURIDOCS CDROM free of charge to the first 200
persons to write to us!

To get one, write to us at the following email address, letting us know
your name and full mailing address: info@huridocs.org

A big thank you to Robert Schroeder, from Boston University, who produced
these videos for us!

Please help us spread the word by forwarding this email to friends and
colleagues who share your interest in human rights documentation.

We hope that you will find these videos useful!

Best regards,
Daniel D’Esposito, Training Officer
