Archivist
Manages and maintains orderly archives through acquisition, processing, cataloguing, loan and circulation of museum materials (documents, photos, letters, images, videos, audio recordings), and contributes to development / update of related policies and procedures. Responsible for the care of museum materials: ensures information is stored in appropriate storage facilities and oversees process for loan of objects to/from the museum. Optimizes systems and software to allow for effective provision of information services to museum staff and stakeholders. Qualifications include minimum 5 years experience in a relevant position, ideally in a museum environment, and education at the university level in a related discipline, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.

Copyright Advisor
Ensures compliance with copyright laws and other legal requirements with respect to their use and that of other intellectual property acquired by the Museum. A strong communicator, this position prepares written advice, information, and policy and procedure on copyright issues, and negotiates the rights to use copyrighted material. Provides support and guidance to Museum operations by responding to inquiries related to copyrights and providing training and advice on the use of copyright material to staff. Qualifications include minimum 3 years experience in a relevant position, with exposure to licensing contracts and image archives documentation and cataloguing; or possess equivalent combination of skills and experience.

Director, Learning & Programming (Bilingual)
The Museum is seeking its first Director of Learning & Programming to lead a team in the development and delivery of accessible and engaging programming – educational, public and artistic – that reflects the national mandate of the museum and promotes reflection and dialogue. The Director analyzes training needs, creates and updates curriculum, designs programs in a variety of mediums, and formulates standardized and custom training and programming. This position is responsible of the delivery of all programming through a team of educators, guides and volunteer staff. Key attributes for this position include creative ability, strong teamwork & leadership skills and excellence in oral and written communication. Requirements include post-secondary degree (Masters preferred) in an appropriate discipline with a specialty in pedagogy; extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of education as they apply to the development of learning and programming, gained through a minimum of 10 years of experience; management and leadership experience; and the ability to communicate in both official languages.
